Summer Lovin’ Drinks!

MNU-ICONS-HEALTH

It’s the dog days of summer, and we want to help you stay refreshed and happy.  Here are some of our favorite Summer Lovin’ Drinks, both old and new, to serve at parties, BBQ’s or just because.

Add some great garnish, some fun straws and some crazy umbrellas to make it more festive.  If you missed it, try our tangy Cherry-Blue Sangria from the 4th of July. Enjoy!

KATHI’S SUMMERY ROSÉ COOLER

Rosé is a perfect summer beverage – light, a little fruity or a little dry, depending on your preference, but always so delicious. We took it a step further and made it a cooler, adding an Elderflower liquor, which was a beautifully-bottled gift to us from our friend Kathi. We named it in her honor. 🙂

Summery Rose Cooler

Recipe
1 bottle of dry rosé wine
1 cup Elderflower liquor (we like St. Germain)
2 cups sparkling raspberry flavored water
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 sliced orange
1 cup raspberries

DIRECTIONS:
Combine ingredients and add ice. Before serving, add orange slices and raspberries.  Makes one pitcher.

KEVIN’S TEXAS SUMMER BEER

This is a surefire hit for your next backyard BBQ, courtesy of SuperHubs.  We are always asked to bring it (it may be why we are invited in the first place – truth)! While completely refreshing, it packs a punch, so go easy. Enjoy!
