Spicy Jalapeño Margarita
As Texans, we consider ourselves margarita experts. We have spent years of our lives (and hundreds of dollars) researching the best of the best (we have sacrificed a lot). 😎 Finally, SuperHubs has hit on the winner, winner with this spicy jalapeño margarita. Texas would be proud of its native son.
1 medium jalapeño pepper
2 oz. tequila
3 limes
1 1/2 ounce organic agave nectar
1/3 water
SPICY SALT:
Cajun seasoning
Margarita salt
AGAVE SWEET & SOUR MIX:

DIRECTIONS:
Mix 2 oz. of agave and 2 oz. of water and set aside. Muddle jalapeño in mixing glass. Add 3 oz. of tequila and muddle again. Add 2 oz. of agave. Stir or shake.
Strain into an ice-filled cocktail glass rimmed with spicy salt. To rim glass with spicy salt, run lime wedge around the rim of the glass, turn over and dunk in salt mixture. Garnish with lime wedge.
Makes 2 servings.
