eSalon Does It Again

We have already shared with you how we are huge fans of this trendsetting hair color service (see our previous post here). Now we have personally tested some more of their products, and we are giving them…wait for it…a HUGE thumbs up! Bravo, eSalon, you have done it again!

When you color your hair, you breathe a sigh of relief, thinking you are okay for a few months.  It takes a chunk out of your day just to get it done, and scheduling that can be challenging, even if you are doing it at home.  What I love about the eSalon hair color – which I use religiously – is that it’s beautifully packaged, personally made for me by one of their talented colorists, and it is gentle on my hair.  No ammonia smell, plenty of helpful additional products like stain guard, stain remover, and a set of color safe shampoo and conditioner for your first wash. Best of all, it’s super easy even if you’ve already been affected by too many fumes that have killed your good brain cells (if that’s the excuse you use, for, you know, all the fun you had in college or maybe just “chemo brain” – yeah, that’s it!).  It’s like they thought of everything – oh wait, they did.  

I have been testing out the color-safe shampoo and conditioner as well as their color-enhancing treatment, Tinted Love.  I have to say, my color has lasted much longer with this combo (thank god).  The tint really does extend the life of the color, so it’s not as embarrassing to wait for my next order to arrive or, and you know what I mean, you don’t have to get out your Sharpie to touch up the greys (you know you do it). The other thing that is so great is how gentle the products are on your hair and how good they smell (important when you have a bionic nose like moi).

I also have the Shining Armor, which is a renewing treatment oil.  It makes your hair shiny and like all of those girls in the hair color ads on TV – only better.  You know these products are healthier for your hair, so there’s that.  And it is conveniently delivered right to your front door on the scheduled day of your choosing (Six weeks? Eight weeks? You pick!).  Best of all, it is more economical and may we remind you, personally made just for you.
