HOT TIP: Death of the Diet Soda


 


Did you know that 1/5 of the U.S. population consumes diet drinks every day, according to the Center for Disease Control & Prevention?  How about this, menopausal ladies –  drinking two or more diet sodas per day can increase the odds for a stroke, heart attack or even death, as reported in a new study (although a cause was not determined).  Diabetes and stroke were attributed to regular consumption of diet soda in previous studies. Really?? REALLY!

So do yourself a favor. Step away from the diet drinks.  They generally give you a false sense of security that you can eat anything you want because you drink diet soda. Not so. Would it surprise you to know that most people who drink diet soda are on their way or already obese? That it can increase your chances of becoming diabetic

How about this crazy idea? Drink WATER.  Try naturally flavored tea with lemon or lime. Add oranges or cucumber to tea or water if you aren’t a fan.  Water is the absolute best thing for you for a hundred reasons. You can do it. Become a water baby. 🙂
