National Margarita Day? YES!
It is not like we are looking for an excuse to have a margarita, but tomorrow is National Margarita Day – hello. Why not get started celebrating that now? We have a healthier spin on the average margie, that uses lime and sweet agave nectar instead of those sugar-laden mixes. Try this version created by the one and only SuperHubs.
K’S AGAVE MARGARITA
3 oz. of agave sweet and sour mix (see recipe below)
11/2 oz. Reposado tequila
Ice
Lime and margarita salt for garnish
To make margarita:

K’S AGAVE SWEET AND SOUR MIX
Kevin’s own agave sweet and sour mix cuts down on the processed sugar but not on the taste! Great in margaritas, amaretto & whiskey sours, or your favorite non-alcoholic drink. Cheers!
½ cup fresh lime juice (4 small limes)
½ cup fresh lemon juice (3 small lemons)
Simple syrup (½ cup agave, ½ cup water)
To make simple syrup:
In a small glass bowl, heat agave with water in the microwave for one minute and mix.
Mix together all parts and add to your favorite drinks.
