Easy Healthy Snack! Shishito Peppers

 

 

A great low calorie snack – 20 calories per cup!  These are easiest to find at your local Asian market.

 

Shishito

1 package shishito peppers

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 teaspoons soy sauce

1 tsp. sesame oil

Kosher salt

 

DIRECTIONS:
Wash peppers thoroughly.  Add to one tablespoon heated olive oil and pan fry for ten minutes.  Turn frequently.

 Once peppers are nicely browned (but still green!), add soy sauce and sesame oil. Mix and plate. Add Kosher salt and serve. 

Time:  5 minutes prep, 10 minutes to cook.  Serves 2.
