HOT TIP – Genetically Engineered Food




If you are working on eating better and buying food that is not processed or genetically modified, we have the shopper’s guide for you from the Environmental Working Group (EWG).  Did you know that over 60 countries require labeling of genetically engineered food but the U.S. does not?  While the Food and Drug Administration has extreme policies on what drugs can be sold, there are no such safety checks for food. Crazy!

The EWG recently published their 2014 Shopper’s Guide to Avoiding Genetically Engineered Food.  Arm yourself with as much information as possible as to what you are putting in your body.  Remember, it’s the only one you have – take good care of it!
