Things We Love – Happiness Apps

Try these apps to help you remember to make your own happiness a priority. We are often so busy taking care of others or working hard or always on the go that we don’t take a few minutes for ourselves. This leads to burnout, depression and more. Load up one of these apps, pop it open while you are waiting in line or need a brain break at work, and see how much better it makes you feel.

The Happiness Planner (iTunes) – Craft goals with this calendar and to-do lists that take you one step closer to more contentment and joy. Daily reflections and exercises are available, too.

Gratitude Journal (iTunes, Google Play) – This app helps you stay focused on the things that matter to you, and to remember them! You can add photos, tag friends, review past lists and more.

Happier (iTunes) – This is a personal mindfulness coach in an app. There’s inspirational quotes, meditation breaks, and courses you can take to discover new ways of finding joy, calm and satisfaction.

YOU-app (iTunes) – This app offers “micro-actions” that helps you take the small steps first toward a happier life. Try a few tasks, like reaching out to a friend, and see how it makes you feel.
