Emotional Support Resources
Ways to Find Help for Grief When You Need It
Some days it feels like it’s a tough time to be alive. Don’t despair. There are many emotional support resources available to you where you can find the help you want – and need.
Whether you are experiencing a serious illness or that of a loved one, or the everyday travails of life, there is assistance when you need it. Let’s face it, none of us were prepared to deal with the events of the last year. We could all use a little help working through the changes we’ve experienced in just about every area of our lives.
Here’s a few we recommend:
Websites
If grief is something you are grappling with, there’s an app you might be interested in called GoodGrief. Founders Kim and Robynne created the app as a way to give grieving people a space to privately connect, chat and support each other in finding a new usual. You can find it on iOS, Android and the web.
Another favorite of ours is GriefShare‘s daily email. For 365 days, you can receive an encouraging email every day for a year to both inspire and comfort you and to impart practical information as you go through your grieving process.
One Fit Widow is from a woman who lost her spouse tragically and how she found the strength to keep going with two young children.

Books are a great emotional support resource. There are countless options to choose from and you can work through it in your own time.
