A Little Lavender for Sweet Dreams

Having a hard time getting those forty winks? Wish you could find a way to sleep better? A few drops of lavender might help you find those sweet dreams. A study in the Journal of Alternative and Complementary Medicine found that people who slept with a chest patch of lavender essential oil had better sleep quality than those with a blank patch.

Try spritzing a little lavender essential oil on a tissue to keep next to your bed, or pour some in your bath as you wind down and get ready to go to sleep.
